The Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to close portions of I-39/90 and I-43 near Beloit over two nights in order to set girders for the new State Highway 81 bridge over the Interstate.
Sections of I-39/90 and I-43 near the Beloit interchange will be closed from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday until 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, and again from 7:00 p.m. Wednesday until 5:00 a.m. Thursday. Motorists must follow the signed detour routes during the overnight closures.
Drivers are urged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to reach their destination. These closures are weather dependent and subject to change.
