The Milton FFA Alumni say they will no longer be coordinating the 4th of July celebration which includes sports competitions, a carnival, and fireworks at Schilberg Park. The Milton FFA Alumni have led the effort for three decades, but admit manpower has become an issue. Organizers say the celebration takes roughly one-hundred volunteers. Milton Area Chamber of Commerce officials say another group may take on coordination of the annual celebration. The annual parade, which attracts thousands, is still being planned.
