The Beloit School Board approves a plan to bring back high school athletics and extra-curricular activities.
It voted unanimously Tuesday night to allow practices and open gyms to start on February 1, even as the district remains in all virtual learning.
Athletic Director Joel Beard presented plans for social distancing, mask wearing, symptom screening and sanitizing equipment and spaces.
The board also heard the options for band students to safely play instruments while limiting the spread of aerosols.
No spectators will be allowed at Beloit Memorial High School other than essential personnel.
