Rock County hires new public health officer and new Rock Haven administrator

Rock County hires a new public health officer and a new administrator for Rock Haven.
The Rock County Board approved the addition of Katrina Harwood as the new leader of the health department, replacing Marie-Noel Sandoval who retired on January 4.
In the health officer position, Harwood has the authority to declare public health orders during the pandemic, including mask mandates or safer-at-home orders.
She previously worked as a supervisor for Public Health Madison and Dane County.
The Rock County Board also confirmed the appointment of Natalie Rolling-Edlebeck as Nursing Home Administrator for Rock Haven.
She steps into the position at a time when employees are speaking out about a vaccine mandate at the facility that has led to staffing difficulties.
