Multiple Rock County law enforcement agencies team up to arrest a wanted Janesville man.
It started Thursday night when Janesville police received a report of 34-year-old Ladale Johnson threatening to kill a female in the 1000 block of Washington Street.
When officers arrived, he fled in a vehicle and led police on a chase down Highway 51 into Beloit.
Rock County Sheriff’s deputies and Beloit police picked up the pursuit and eventually deployed stop sticks to slow down the vehicle.
Police say Johnson fled on foot and officers followed his footprints to a garage, where a Beloit SWAT team took him into custody.
Online court records show he had multiple warrants for his arrest, facing domestic violence charges including substantial battery, disorderly conduct, fleeing officers and resisting arrest.
