Finding a job may be getting a little easier. The local unemployment rate decreased slightly or stayed the same last month in Rock, and all surrounding counties. The State Department of Workforce Development reports Rock county had the biggest dip from 5.6% in February to 5.1% last month. The unemployment rate in Janesville is currently 4.9%, and 6.2 in Beloit.
