The City of Beloit invites local kids ages five to 13 to try their hand at naming a garbage truck.
Recreation Coordinator Nicole Yost says they can email their name ideas through Friday.
Yost says submissions must be G-rated and family friendly, and cannot include any trademarked characters or brands.
The winner will have their name painted on the side of a garbage truck, they’ll get a picture of themselves with the truck, and the truck will be the one used on their route.
