UW-Whitewater Chancellor Dwight Watson is resigning.  Watson wrote in his resignation letter he must resign from his position as Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater because he’d been diagnosed with stomach and intestinal cancer.  Watson was hired at UW-Whitewater in May 2019, leading the university for two years.  Watson will officially end his term June 30.  Former UW System administrator, Jim Henderson, will take over the role as interim chancellor.
