Vaccination efforts appear to be paying off in Rock County.
Rock County Public Health Department Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says there have been a total of 16,416 positive cases locally, with a current average of about three new cases per day.
Zupan says there are currently about 70 actives cases of COVID-19 in the community and a total of 181 deaths due to the disease in Rock County.
Zupan says nearly 49% of people in Rock County have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, and 44% are fully vaccinated.
