Beloit Snappers moving into new downtown stadium August 3

The Beloit Snappers will officially move into their new stadium August 3.
The minor league baseball team announced Monday it will move out of Pohlman Field for the final 24 home games of this season.
Snappers President Jeff Jurgella called it “miraculous” that construction crews will finish ABC Supply Stadium in just 14 months to give the team a top-of-the-line facility.
The team is planning a soft opening at the end of July as a dress rehearsal for the full stadium debut against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
They plan to host other events including potential concerts and movie nights later this fall as they build-out the venue for year-round use.
Tickets for games at the new stadium will go on sale Wednesday at the same prices they are at the current field.
