Bond is set at $100 thousand for a 37-year-old Rock County man accused of brutally killing his grandmother. Jamie Beggs faces first-degree intentional homicide charges in the death of 97-year-old Kathleen Beggs. The victim was found on the morning of June 14th in the garage of her home on Mineral Point Road west of Janesville. Rock County Assistant District Attorney Alex Goulart calls this an extraordinarily violent case. Court documents indicates Beggs indicated he was both seeing and hearing demons at the time. Beggs is scheduled to make his next court appearance July 6th.
