Janesville’s business membership organization grapples with the loss of newly announced President and CEO Mike Osborne.
According to a statement from Forward Janesville Board Chair Tim Lindau and Board Chair-elect Oakleigh Ryan, Mike made an impression on everyone he met and all those involved with the interview process will remember his smile, humor, and confidence.
A Gofundme page set up by Osborne’s family says the 50-year-old passed away just after 9:30 Tuesday morning as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Batavia, Illinois last week.
A celebration of life is planned for Mike at The Dam Bar in Geneva, Illinois on Friday from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m.
An email from Forward Janesville says the Board plans to have an interim CEO in place by the end of summer.
