Janesville police arrest a suspect following a downtown stabbing.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the area of South Main Street and East Racine Street at around 2:40 a.m. Saturday.
A 28-year-old victim directed police to a vehicle leaving the scene of the crime.
They successfully stopped the vehicle and arrested one of the passengers, 27-year-old Sonny Baladez of Janesville on suspicion of substantial battery while armed.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
