A moment of remembrance, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, is planned in Janesville. Firefighter-Paramedic Mary Flavin says ceremonies are planned for 8:00 a.m. Saturday in Fireman’s Park downtown. The public is invited to the event held in the shadow of the park’s memorial beam from the twin-towers. Speakers will include the city manager, police chief, and fire chief.
