The former General Motors assembly plant property in Janesville is up for auction at a bargain price.
Janesville Economic Development Director Gale Price says Commercial Development Company has broken the property into three parcels.
Price says starting bid for two of the properties is $750,000, while a third starts at $250,000 – a far cry from the $9.6 million CDC paid for the property in 2017.
