Elkhorn Police make an arrest in connection with the fatal hit and run accident that killed a 70-year-old rural Lake Geneva man on October 3rd.
According to a notice from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Elkhorn Police were dispatched to the report of a man lying in the ditch in the 400 block of County Highway H and not breathing just after 10:30 p.m. this past Sunday night.
Investigation determined that Francisco Garcia was walking when he was hit and killed by a vehicle that failed to stop.
Elkhorn Police says 33-year-old Bradley R. Kirkpatrick of Elkhorn was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Walworth County Jail for hit and run resulting in death.
