It may not even be Halloween yet, but the Salvation Army Rock County is already seeing red.
Major Tom McDowell says last year only 15 percent of the red kettle bell-ringing shifts were covered.
McDowell says they start up the Friday before Thanksgiving.
McDowell says volunteers can sign up online at www.registertoring.com.
McDowell says the Salvation Army is also in dire need of meal site assistants, food pantry volunteers, janitorial volunteers, and volunteer drivers.
