Senator Ron Johnson blasts GAO report on climate change

One of Wisconsin’s US Senators is calling on the Government Accountability Office to immediately withdraw a recent report indicating a possible risk from global warming to federal worker retirement savings.
Republican Ron Johnson is Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
The Republican says the exact impact that man has on climate change isn’t settled and to say there is scientific consensus on climate change is very unscientific.
In June, the Government Accountability Office published a report recommending the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board evaluate federal retirees’ investment offerings in the Thrift Savings Plan for risks related to global warming.
