The Rock County Medical Examiner is releasing the names of the two Janesville men who died in a crash earlier this week in the town of Bradford.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a three vehicle crash about 6:30 Thursday morning in the 8500 block of East U.S. Highway 14.

Officials say 57-year-old Benjamin C. Olvera was driving west and crossed the center-line into the path of 74-year-old Gerald L. Lux, who was eastbound.

Both men were pinned in their vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary results of the autopsies indicate both Olvera and Lux died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of a third vehicle, which ended up in the ditch trying to avoid the crash, was not hurt.

The highway was closed for more than three hours.
