The School District of Janesville’s superintendent is confident in the Board of Education’s process in finding his successor.
Steve Pophal says the board is put out a request for proposals from local and national search firms.
Pophal says the proposals are due back just before Thanksgiving, as the board hopes to select a firm before the end of the year.
Pophal says his retirement date is June 30th, the last day of the 2021 -2022 school year.
