A Beloit Police officer dies from complications due to COVID-19.
According to a news release, 48-year-old officer Daniel J. Daly passed away November 15th.
Officer Daly was sworn-in as a City of Beloit Police officer in 1997 and was a member of the Field Training Officer cadre.
Officer Daly’s body was transported from the hospital in Rockford to Daley Murphy Wisch funeral home in Beloit with a law enforcement procession Monday evening.
Daly is survived by his wife and two children.
