A local congressman appears pleased with the work getting done in Washington D.C.
2nd District U.S. Representative Mark Pocan says President Joe Biden signed the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill on Monday.
The bill delivers $550 billion in new federal infrastructure investments over five years, covering everything from bridges and roads, broadband, and water and energy systems.
The Black Earth Democrat says the money from the infrastructure bill will distributed much like COVID-19 relief funding with most of the decisions being made at the local level.
