Janesville police are investigating suspicious activity reported during Marshall Middle School Rec night. Police say they received a second-hand report of two students being in a bathroom stall at the same time. Officers reviewed security footage from outside the bathroom Saturday, but couldn’t confirm a crime was committed. Officers are continuing the investigation to identify those who may have been involved or witnessed the event. Police say the goal is to ensure the safety of students attending Rec Night and that’s why these events are staffed by a police officer along with several chaperones.
