Beloit City Manager Lori Curtis Luther has been appointed to the League of Wisconsin Municipalities board of directors. League Executive Director Jerry Deschane says Curtis Luther brings 25-years of dedicated public service experience to the board. Deschane says as part of the 16-member board, Curtis Luther will be essential in helping set the strategic direction for the League at a critical time in the organization’s history. Curtis Luther is expected to be instrumental in helping the League address a key issue of assisting its 600 municipal members deal with every tightening budgets.
