The Omicron variant has Congressman Bryan Steil of Janesville concerned government policy makers may over-react. Steil suggests officials wait for the health care community to investigate how serious the latest variant is before repeating poor decisions of the past. He says one of his top concerns is to avoid any unnecessary shut-down of in-person learning in schools. The Republican says Omicron will unlikely not be the last variant and it’s fortunate we have a vaccine for those who wish to take it.
