The current rate of inflation shouldn’t be here forever. Congressman Mark Pocan says top economists are predicting an end sometime next year. The Second District Representative says the cause is simply a result of the pandemic. Pocan says with COVID-19 prompting industrial shut-downs, it reduced the supply of goods, and that prompted inflation. He says as soon as inventories and the supply chain recover, inflation should stabilize. The Democrat adds inflation has been rather flat in recent years, and now we’re paying the price all at once.
