A local retailer is giving a couple dozen kids the shopping trip of a lifetime.
Blain’s Farm and Fleet is providing 24 children the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts for themselves and their families with a little help from local police officers.
PR and Event Lead Miranda Becker says the kids for “Shop with a Cop” are selected by the Janesville School District to participate in the event Tuesday evening.
Becker says the program encourages community involvement and spreads holiday cheer, while creating positive interactions and relationships with local law enforcement that Blain’s Farm & Fleet is proud to sponsor.
Becker says Blain’s Farm & Fleet is providing each kids with a $200 gift card.
