Rock County corrections officers may be realizing the benefits of having body cameras. Sheriff Tory Knudson says the cameras have been in full use for about three months. Knudson says many officers appear grateful for the video record when complaints are filed. He says it’s very easy to review the video and see what really occurred. He suspects fewer complaints are being filed because inmates know their actions are being recorded.
