The Aging and Disability Resource Center has plans to help more seniors better manage their health at home. Health Promotion Coordinator Lisa Messer says a series of virtual workshops are planned to show plenty can be done outside the doctor’s office. Messer says statistics show only 20% of help is determined in the doctors office. She says much of the rest is up to the individual. The workshops will deal with common ailments among the elderly and will be held once a week for six weeks beginning February 22nd.
