The Beloit Public Library partners with other organizations to help make the “When I Grow Up…” Storytime Series possible for kids. Marketing and Communications Coordinator Amy Mitchell says the partnership includes PBS KIDS and Hendricks Career Tek. According to Mitchell, the Storytime is a career-based monthly event that will include bringing in people of different careers. Included in the series will be a mix of literacy, science and hands-on activity. It starts February 5th on a monthly basis from 11 a.m. until noon. Free books and a free lunch will be provided at each session.
