A local high school is sending a team to the State Academic Decathlon competition for the first time in district history. Beloit Memorial High School qualified after placing third and winning 11 individual ribbons at a regional competition. Team members will be quizzed in seven subject areas including art, music, literature, economics, mathematics, science and social studies. This year’s competition will be held virtually February 22nd through the 25th.
