Beloit police are investigating three homicides over the course of four days this week. The latest occurred Saturday night after the Beloit Memorial High School basketball game against Madison La Follette. Beloit police say a man was shot in the parking lot outside the high school and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Police are also investigating the discovery of a woman found stabbed earlier in the day on the city’s east side. Officers were called to the area of Howes Drive and Clary Street a little after 7:00 a.m. Saturday. These incidents followed a shooting just after noon Wednesday in the 1400 block of Madison Road. A woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound and later died at the hospital. Police say Anthony D. Richmond of Beloit has been arrested in that incident.
