Janesville Police are providing increased law enforcement presence at Janesville School District sporting events after a 19-year-old man was shot to death in the parking lot outside Beloit Memorial High School after a basketball game Saturday night.
According to a news release, it’s just a precautionary step to help ensure a positive and safe environment for all in attendance.
The extra security will to effect Monday night for the Craig High School girls basketball game versus Beloit Memorial High School and will last until the end of the school year.
