Kids eight and under from all over Southern Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois descend upon Janesville this weekend for the annual Hockey Rocks Tournament.
Janesville Youth Hockey President Justin Wiskie says the Hockey Rocks Tournament has been a tradition for the last 11 years with the exception of the 2021 event which had to be canceled due to COVID-19.
The tournament includes 24 teams and 200 students from Beaver Dam, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Quad Cities, Sauk City/Sauk Prairie, Sun Prairie, Stoughton, Verona, Waunakee, Janesville as well as locations in Iowa and Illinois.
Games begin at 8:000 AM Saturday and Sunday with the last game at 5:15 PM on Saturday and 1:30 PM on Sunday.
Spectators are invited to attend the games, cheer on the teams, and enjoy great local hockey!
