A 49-year-old Janesville man is facing a 5th Operating While Intoxicated charge after being picked-up over the weekend. Janesville police say Mario Rivers was pulled-over for a defective brake light at 5:15 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Laurel Avenue and North Palm Street. Police say Rivers displayed signs of impairment during the traffic stop and failed standardized field sobriety testing. Officers say Rivers is currently on probation for a 4th OWI and his driving status was already revoked.
