Loudenbeck gets first veto of legislative career

31st Assembly District Representative Amy Loudenbeck almost goes her entire career in the legislature without getting a bill vetoed.
The Clinton Republican says Governor Evers unfortunately, rejected a bill she authored that would have extended the allowable work hours for 14 and 15-year-olds who work at small businesses.
Loudenbeck says she’s disappointed as her bill was intended to help the smallest mom and pop businesses to ensure they’re able to stay operational a couple of extra hours if they employ younger teens.
Loudenbeck says the Governor should have taken the time to talk to these small businesses to hear about this issue directly instead of simply vetoing it.
Loudenbeck says she is still proud of her track record after having passed nearly 50 bills with only one veto.
