Economic Development doesn’t appear to be slowing down in Janesville.
Outgoing Economic Development Director Gale Price says he recently signed a non disclosure agreement for a major industrial project that he thinks will come forward in the next 30 days.
Price says the City continues to work with Chilis on the design aspects of a proposed location at the site of the former Perkins restaurant in Janesville and he’s confident something will be happening in the spring.
Price says construction is starting on the new HyVee store inside the former Shopko building with completion expected at the end of September.
Price’s last day with the City of Janesville is Thursday, at which point he’ll pass the reins to Interim Economic Development Director Dayna Sarver.
