Janesville could soon have a coworking space.
Forward Janesville Vice President of Government Relations and Education Dan Cunningham says it’s something that’s currently lacking in the community.
The Janesville School Board approved a partnership with Janesville Innovation Incorporated and Forward Janesville to share a space in the Gray Goose building in downtown Janesville.
Cunningham says the school district’s Elevate program works on projects with real businesses.
A memo from the School District says the coworking space will allow students to learn in a business environment, give them space to have business meetings with mentors, and allow for a cross-pollination of ideas with shared coworker businesses.
