U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin turns her attention to the 170,000 lead pipes Wisconsin drinking water runs through. The Democrat says the federal infrastructure bill will quicken the removal process, protecting individuals from toxic consumption. Nearly $50 million of the bipartisan law’s invested amount will go to replace lead pipes. The bill includes a one-year investment but will last several years.
