A three-way partnership is taking place for an upcoming event this weekend at Rockport Park. According to a news release, the Friends of Rockport Park and the Ice Age Trail Alliance-Rock County Chapter partner with the City of Janesville Parks and Recreation Divisions to host their annual Candlelight Ski/Hike. Skiing and hiking participants will experience two miles of scenic candlelight, and enjoy warm food and drink around a bonfire this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The event is free to the public, donations are accepted.
