Non-profit Acts Housing is a program helping Beloit families get homes. Chief Development and Marketing Officer Kelly Andrew says they wanted to help low-to-moderate income families become homeowners after seeing efforts work in Milwaukee. Andrew says the average annual household income for families purchasing with them is $36,000, which is about 65 percent of the Rock County average median income. Andrew says the goal is to get 35 new homeowners in Beloit this year.
