Janesville’s cold storage facility is planned to include two new businesses. City Manager Mark Freitag says an interested business owner plans to include a transload facility and a larger distribution center. Freitag says the city’s 60% increase in equalized, assessed value speaks to Janesville’s location, business climate, and ability to work well with the city. He says plans for the facility’s location will be right off the interstate behind Hampton Inn.
