The Beloit Police Department identifies a suspect in connection with the non-fatal shooting of a 43-year-old man early last Thursday morning.
Beloit Police were dispatched to the report of a shooting in the 500 block of 8th Street just after 2:30 a.m. on February 10th.
While officers were investigating, the victim turned up at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
Beloit Police says through community cooperation and support, they’ve identified 33-year-old Markis D. Crenshaw of Beloit as a suspect.
Officers are seeking Crenshaw’s whereabouts in order to arrest him on suspicion of attempted first degree intentional homicide, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and bail jumping.
