The new indoor sports complex at the Janesville mall is not yet approved. City Council President Doug Marklein says it’s evolved into a community center, the mall location is a proposal, and the city is helping facilitate it, but the council is waiting before making a decision. Marklein says if the price is around $20 million it would be worth talking about, if it’s around $30 million they’ll have to see what they can come up with, but over $40 million would be too high. He says we have no idea how he’s going to vote on this.
