KANDU Industries of Janesville is making plans to both consolidate and expand operations. KANDU Executive Director Kathy Hansen says a long thought-out three-year strategic plan should meet changing social needs and create a better work environment for clients. Hansen says KANDU is selling both the Armory and Pontiac Convention Center, as well as expanding its facilities on Adel Street and Center Avenue. Production space is expected to double on Adel Street, and Day Services will also expand at KANDU’s Center Avenue location. Best Events Catering and KANDU’s administrative offices will also be housed on Center Avenue.
