Domestic abuse suspect waives preliminary hearing

A 29-year-old Janesville man accused of attacking a woman and pointing a gun a people waives his right to a preliminary hearing in Rock County Court.
A criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court indicates Janesville police responded to a domestic incident at a home on South Crosby Avenue January 26th.
Brandon M. Louder is charged with strangulation and suffocation, intentionally pointing a firearm at a person, disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon, and 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety – all with a domestic abuse enhancer; as well as operating a firearm while intoxicated.
Court Commissioner Stephen Meyer bound Louder over for trial after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday.
A jury trial is expected to be scheduled.
