Masks no longer required in Rock County facilities starting March 1st

corona-virus-2

Starting Tuesday masks are no longer required in Rock County facilities.

According to a news release the Rock County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution re-instituting a face covering requirement for County staff and visitors in County facilities in August of 2021.

Included in the resolution were several criteria which, if met, would automatically end the face covering requirement.

One of these criteria was met when the Rock County Public Health Department modified its guidance to no longer recommend that all individuals wear masks indoors Monday.

Federal face covering requirements are still in place at Rock Haven and for the Human Services Department specialized transit program.
