The Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau encourages local groups and organizations to apply for the Tourism Marketing Grant Program. According to a news release, the JACVB will distribute up to $40,000 in marketing grants. Executive Director Christine Rebout says they’re looking for special events seeking to grow or expand, or local tourism businesses wanting to market outside Rock County. She says they can spend funds on anything from marketing materials like brochures to sporting event bidding fees. Rebout says the first grant application deadline is April 4th. There will be another application deadline for the second round if funds aren’t gone after the first round.
