The Marriott TownPlace Suites in Janesville could be getting a neighbor in the form of another new hotel.
A developer is looking to build a new Tru by Hilton hotel at 2702 Pontiac Place.
Senior Planner Brian Schweigl says the proposal is for a 90 room, four-story hotel.
Schweigl says a conditional use permit is required as the new hotel would be located on the same property as the Marriott TownPlace Suites and relies upon shared access with the other businesses.
Schweigl says the Plan Commission is expected to set a public hearing for the project when they meet Monday night at City Hall.
