The Rock County Medical Examiner is releasing the name of the 48-year-old Prairie du Chien man who was killed last Thursday in a crash on the Interstate near Janesville.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reports.an SUV was driving northbound on the I-39/90 when it went off the highway at mile-marker 173.
According to the Medical Examiner, preliminary results of the autopsy indicate that the driver, Dennis B. Gifford died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
